California has been warned for decades about the consequences of wildfire mismanagement. Santa Ana winds are not a new phenomena. This problem could have been mitigated but instead woke agenda driven politicians in California and Washington sold out their voter constituency. Unfortunately while it may not be enough to change the political landscape, there is hope ahead. California will need a lot of money from the Fed. With Trump in power there will be important strings attached to any rebuilding. That’s hope in a scenario where you can burn the voters house down through sheer incompetence and they may still vote for you. And that’s nuts.
