Considering gross management, corruption, and incompetenc, the tragedies in North Carolina and California are certainly similar . The clips below don’t show the horrendous damage which has been done or the lives have been destroyed. This is the effect of terrible government. The cause is pretty evident when viewing the short clips below. The people that can afford to escape this cesspool of bad government, like their many predecessors from California and New York, will just move. Yes they might still vote blue; however, instead of recognizing how the left has destroyed their community, they will take their tax money and leave. Of course, the tax base is precisely what California and New York cannot afford to lose.
In terms of overall tax burden, Los Angeles ranks 12th among U.S. cities where people pay the most in taxes, with a total estimated tax percentage of 10.9%. This includes not just sales tax, but also income, property, and auto taxes.
The city of Los Angeles is projected to have a $476 million deficit for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. This is due to lower than expected revenues and approximately $288 million in overspending . Earlier reports from December 2024 had indicated a deficit of $296.14 million, suggesting the situation has worsened.
Insurance company withdrawals: Major insurers like State Farm have dropped thousands of policyholders in high-risk areas, including nearly 70% of their market share in Pacific Palisades. Other companies like Tokio Marine America Insurance Co. and Trans Pacific Insurance Co. have announced plans to exit the California market entirely.
There should be a special place in political purgatory for those that kill, maim, and destroy lives in the name of far left policies that continually fail. I am sorry for the people of California but they have taken great pride in their lofty values and condescension for almost everyone to the east. And now they paid the price. You wonder how long it will take to for California’s voters to figure it out.
