Was It Worth It?

Segment # 254

OK it’s over and now the retribution and second guessing begins. The reactions on the left have been for many somewhat shocking. We thought all the deplorable, garbage, Nazi, Hitler stuff was campaign rhetoric created as strategy. Unfortunately, for the country there are many on the left that actually believe this stuff and consequently for them election night was like getting hit by a bus.. slowly and painfully. So this recovery will take some time. Regardless, even though the Nazi rhetoric will continue, maybe when the historians are not locked up, the talking heads are not put up against a wall and shot, and all young black girls rare not aped.. maybe.. just maybe the Dems will have a second accounting as their flock realizes they were played.

The campaign spending on the Dem side was mind blowing. The numbers are still coming in, but between the campaign and donors, they spent close to 1.5 billion. And at the end after a blwout, they are reportedly 20 million in debt.

The 2024 U.S. presidential election has concluded with a surprising outcome, despite record-breaking campaign spending by the Democratic candidate. Here's a summary of the key points regarding Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign finances and the election results:

Campaign Fundraising and Spending

Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign achieved an unprecedented fundraising milestone, raising over $1 billion during her presidential run

. This remarkable feat included:

A three-month period ending September 30, 2024, in which the campaign raised $1 bill

In September alone, Harris's campaign and associated party committees amassed over $359 million

By October, Harris and her team had more than $346 million available

Ad Spending and Strategy

The Harris campaign and its Democratic allies invested heavily in political advertising:

Nearly $1.4 billion was spent on aired political ads

Democrats outspent Republicans by nearly $460 million in ad buys

Taxation was the most referenced issue in Harris's campaign ads, accounting for 75% of her 498,000 ad airings

 Battleground State Focus

A substantial portion of the campaign's resources was directed towards key swing states:

$1.8 billion was spent on ads in seven battleground states.

Pennsylvania alone saw $494.3 million in ad spending, with Democrats outspending Republicans by $261.9 million

The Harris-Walz campaign outspent the Trump-Vance ticket in each battleground state
