The Demise of Legacy Media

Segment # 249

Ratings have been dropping for the legacy media with more Americans turning to independent sources like Joe Rogan, Megyn Kelly, and Dan Bongino. Ironically, that trend promises to accelerate with Kamala winning on Tuesday. With those loyal Dem supporters having drunk the Kool Aide, the disaffection will be palpable.

Exactly. The reason that the public no longer trusts the legacy media is that the media has been exposed as lying too many times to count. Legacy media absolutely deserves the lack of respect and ridicule it gets. Just yesterday, the legacy media tried to claim that

@realDonaldTrump

wanted to kill Liz Cheney when what he actually said was that she would feel differently about being a warmonger if she had to fight herself, instead of sending others to die. Shameful.

People don’t trust the legacy media because of right-wing disinformation, says Chuck Todd. That’s absurd. We don’t trust it because all it does is lie. The rapidly approaching death of the media could be what saves Western civilization from narcissistic elites like Chuck Todd. x.com/shellenberger/…

Watch: Powerful Video: Will This Video Make You Abandon Corporate Media Forever? This is an extremely interesting video. Centralization of media creates an extremely dangerous environment by controlling the flow of information that people consume. It sets boundaries and frames the narratives for society to blindly follow, while discrediting alternative viewpoints. In 1917, JP Morgan interests hired 12 high ranking news managers. Those 12 determined the most influential newspapers in America. They were to figure out how many news organizations it would take to control generally the policy of the daily press of the United States. It was found that it was only necessary to purchase the control of the top 25. An agreement was reached. This snowballed into the monopoly on media we see today that has largely become propaganda. It feels like we’re reaching an inflection point, where society is ready to accept independent media and various sources who aren’t bought and paid for or compromised.
