Pete’s Rebuttal

Segment # 291

A few days ago I pretty much wrote Hegseth off for Secretary of Defense. He has since come out with a one-one-interview with Megyn Kelly. In the interview he has pointed out that almost all of the salacious accusations have been made anonymously and should be discredited. I totally agree with Hegseth on this point. The accused should have the right to confront his or her accusers. If these sources won’t step up and be named, then in my world the slander just be regarded as just that unsubstantiated accusations. The people standing up for Hegseth are being required to be identified. Some of these sources might well suffer blow back for supporting Hegseth but they are doing it anyway. The same standard should apply.

Hegseth gave this interview to Kelly with no restrictions and no time limit; and it tuned out to be surprisingly candid and unequivocal. Kelly is a straight shooter and doesn’t hold back. It’s worth a listen.
